Windows 7 Service Pack 1 is expected in the second half of 2010.

Microsoft has released some details of the forthcoming Service Pack 1 for Windows 7 in a blog posting on its official website. According to the update, the Service Pack will mostly include minor updates and bug fixes, with many of the patches having already been deployed via Windows Update. However, the company did say that SP1 would include an improved Remote Desktop client designed to take advantage of the latest virtualization technologies. The update is expected sometime in the autumn, and you can read more here.
