PC Utilities review:
As you use your system, errors accumulate unseen in the background, often because Windows and installed programs don’t tidy up after themselves as they should. Also, Windows settings may not be optimised for your system. Gradually, these mismatches and faults can reach the point where system stability is compromised. Advanced SystemCare Personal, formerly known as Advanced WindowsCare Personal, is a Windows maintenance tool designed to rectify these problems and eliminate system slowdown and crashes.
When you run Advanced SystemCare Personal for the first time, a brief setup wizard runs. You will also be asked if you wish to create a System Restore point and a registry backup - it’s a good idea to accept both. After this, the program immediately starts to scan your system. Although Advanced SystemCare Personal offers scores of utilities, it’s probably best to use one or two at a time, so results can be monitored. Some of the utilities - eg the Security Analyzer and Disk Defrag modules - are new to version 3.0 of the suite, and the interface is certainly a lot slicker now too. Other modules that you may be familiar with from Advanced WindowsCare, such as the System Optimization tool, are much improved.
We used the program on a new Vista system which might reasonably have been expected to be error-free. However, Advanced SystemCare found hundreds of errors or improvements and we noticed a perceptible enhancement in performance from merely implementing the most urgent.
All in all Advanced SystemCare is a capable utility suite, which can prove very handy in keeping your PC running at its best.

Without doubt, this is the best freeware product of its kind on my pc, and should be an automatic choice for novices or seasoned system users who like to keep their pc's in order and want the best (and cheapest!) tool to do just this.
